Those experts had been relaxing, watching the livestream while sipping tea.
But the moment they saw what was happening onscreen, they jumped up and rushed over.
No one dared waste a second. They scrambled to counterattack.
But the systems that had responded so smoothly earlier wouldn’t budge now. They were locked out completely.
Meanwhile, one by one, the Nolan Group’s systems lit back up.
The screens flickered on, steady and strong.
Everyone watching understood what that meant. Nolan Group had regained control.

Daniel rubbed his eyes in disbelief, staring at his phone. He blinked again–still couldn’t believe it.
Eric was watching Alice work, his eyes locked on her hands as they flew across the keys. He frowned slightly. “What is it?”
“Mr. Eric…I think I’m going blind. I must be seeing things.”
Eric is confused, and he glanced down.
Then his eyes widened. A flash of shock passed through his usually unreadable face.
It was Nolan Group’s stock chart.
Earlier, when the company had been getting publicly destroyed by the foreign teams, their stock had nosedived.
Shareholders were furious. Pressure was coming down hard on both him and Ruby.
Even Irene had called, offering to bring in outside help to clean up the mess–but only if Charlie and Scott were released.
Eric hadn’t answered her.
He didn’t think much of Nolan Group’s market value in the first place.
But now…
Daniel nearly jumped out of his seat.
“It’s her! It’s Mrs. Nolan! Her performance has the whole world on fire!”
Alice, still calmly typing, glanced at him and let out a soft chuckle.
She looked over with a raised brow. “Can you chill out a little?”

Alice rolled her eyes. “You’re such a child.”
She turned briefly toward Eric.
“Congratulations, Mr. Eric.”
Eric blinked. A glimmer of something flickered in his eyes. “For what?”
Alice smiled teasingly.
“You’ve become the envy of the world–so young, and already married to someone like me.”
Eric looked confused.
Daniel immediately jumped in to explain.
“She means the whole world is jealous that you married such a talented wife!”
As soon as he said it, he regretted it.
Too obvious . Way too obvious .

Daniel knew Eric hated being forced into things. If he thought Alice was putting on a show to win his favor, it might just backfire.
He bit his lip and watched Eric closely, afraid he’d ruined everything.
But Eric didn’t react the way he expected.
He nodded–calm and steady.
“Hm.”
Just a single sound. But it was enough to make Daniel stare in disbelief.
He’s not mad ? He responded ?
This never would’ve happened in the past .
Daniel’s heart swelled. Maybe I really did help after all .
Alice kept going. One after another, the enemy’s systems went down.
Even when their experts joined the field, they couldn’t stop it.
The same people who had laughed and mocked earlier were now being utterly humiliated–on camera. The online crowd roared with praise.–
People in the room clenched their fists, filled with pride and fire.
