Madison was on the verge of tears, “What do we do now? Our son is missing… my husband…”
“Don’t panic! Kyle and the others will be finer Felix tried to reassure her, though his own heart was heavy with worry.
Sebastian, looking equally concerned, asked their other three children, “Did you see Arthur or Kyle?”
“They were here at first, but now we don’t know,” the kids responded, shaking their heads.

Panic set in as the group realized the children were missing, Sebastian immediately gave orders, “Send more people to help search, and you two, check the surveillance footage!”
After organizing the search efforts, Sebastian turned to Felix and his wife. “We’ll split up to search.”
The three of them went off in different directions, looking for the children.
The resort’s garden was vast, and near the playground was a maze of tall plants–higher than an adult’s height, making it easy for children to disappear without being seen.

“Kyle…?”
Their calls echoed through the air, growing more frantic.
“ Kyle , where are you? Come out now!”
Madison’s voice wavered with tears. She had only one son, and he was her everything. The thought of losing him was unbearable. But after searching for a long time , there was still no sign of him. Just as she passed through a cluster of plants, someone grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth and nose with a cloth.
At first, she struggled, but within half a minute, she slipped into unconsciousness and collapsed to the ground.
When Madison regained consciousness, she found herself in a cold, empty basement. Her hands and feet were bound, and her mouth was taped shut. Panic set in as she tried to recall what happened–she had been searching for her son in the resort’s garden, but someone had attacked her from behind. Now, she had no idea where she was.

She struggled to get up but was unable to. All she could do was writhe helplessly on the floor like a trapped insect.
Suddenly, the large iron door creaked open, and two men walked in, each carrying something. They dropped the items on the floor, and Madison’s heart nearly stopped when she saw her son, Kyle, lying unconscious on the ground, also bound and gagged.
Madison’s voice caught in her throat as she tried to make a sound. Her son was in a terrible state, and seeing him like that broke her heart.
Then, she noticed the other child on the ground–it was Arthur, Sebastian’s youngest son. Both of the Vanderbilt and Xenos family children had been kidnapped.
Who had taken them?

A group of men entered shortly after. One thin man looked excited as he spoke to the larger one, “Big brother, we’re going to makes fortunel One is the young master of The Vanderbilt Family, and the other is from The Xenos Familly. We’re going to get a huge ransom-
Hadison understood immediately–these men had kidnapped her son and Arthur to demand a ransom from both families.
But then, the thin man hesitated, “But what’s the point of bringing this woman along? Her husband is a cop!”
The large man cursed, “You idiots don’t get it. Felix is a cop, so we need her as a hostage. Otherwise, how do you expect to get the money? If we just kidnapped the kids, do you think we’d get paid easily?”
The thin man nodded in agreement. “Right, genius!”
He turned to look at Madison, still bound and gagged on the floor. “She’s not bad looking. How about we let the brothers have a little fun with her?”
Madison’s heart nearly stopped at his words. She tried to scream, but all she could do was make muffled noises, terrified of what might happen to her,
“Shut up and behave! The large man barked, and the others backed off reluctantly. Madison’s heart was pounding in her chest, terrified of what could happen next.
The group soon began discussing how to contact the families for the ransom.
“Sebastian, your son is in my hands. I want 10 million in ransom, no less. If you don’t pay, your son’s life is forfeit!”
They then reached out to The Xenos Family and Felix, “Felix, your son is with us. You have one hour to prepare the ransom. Otherwise, we’ll start sending body parts!”
Felix’s voice came over the line. “Where’s my son? Let me hear his voice!”
The kidnapper replied, “Your son isn’t awake yet, but we can let you hear your wife’s voice!”
The kidnapper ripped the tape off Madison’s mouth. Upon hearing her husband’s voice, Madison’s tears began to fall, and she cried out, “Honey, it’s mel Please save us…”
Before she could say anything else, the tape was reapplied, and the kidnapper mocked, “See? You believe us now, don’t you? Get the money ready, or we’ll start killing.”
The call ended abruptly, and the kidnappers began to relax, eating and drinking while playing cards.
An hour passed, and the thin man checked the bank account . “Big brother, there’s no payment yet! They didn’t send the money!”
The large man pulled out a spring–loaded knife. “These rich people are so stingyl if they don’t pay, we’ll kill them!”
As the men walked towards Madison and Kyle with knives in hand, Madison struggled desperately to protect her son. Her tears were streaming down her face, her mind racing with helplessness.

Felix rushed in, fighting with the kidnappers. The two sides clashed for a while, and Felix was injured, coughing up blood as he collapsed to the ground.
Madison’s heart shattered seeing her husband hurt. It was all her fault. She had caused this trouble.
What could they do now? Who would save them?
Just as Madison sank into despair, another person barged through the door–Caitlin, kicking a small thug
thug aside as she stormed in.
She quickly dealt with a few more men, knocking them down. When she saw Felix lying on the ground, she cried out,
“Felix!”
Felix weakly said, “Save my wife… and the kids…”
With those words, he passed out.
Madison felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. Her husband was still thinking about her and the kids even in his most vulnerable state.
How could she have never truly understood him? She had caused him so much pain.
“Felix…” She whispered, heartbroken,
