Sebastian’s solution was simple. After making a quick phone call, he picked Caitlin up without hesitation.
Caitlin was taken by surprise—she hadn’t expected him to do this in public.
“Sebastian…” She gave him a look, signaling for him to put her down.
But Sebastian ignored her, striding forward and carrying her up to the deck.
The reporters below were snapping photos furiously, capturing the image of Sebastian holding Caitlin in his arms like a princess,

Felix sighed, giving in. Madison took his arm, eager to introduce him to people, though Felix wasn’t interested.
At that moment, a stir at the entrance caught everyone’s attention–Ximena and her daughter, Zora, had arrived.
“Isn’t that Ximena from XEG? And her daughter, Miss Harris?”
The socialites quickly swarmed to Ximena and Zora, complimenting Zora’s dress.
“Wow, Miss Harris, your dress is stunning! So beautiful!”
“Is it from XEG’s own brand?”
Zora beamed with pride, “This isn’t XEG’s brand. It’s designed by a renowned Italian designer.”
“Of course, it looks so unique!”
“Beautiful! Miss Harris, you’re even more beautiful than your dress!”
Ximena was equally proud, but she knew the truth–that the original, authentic dress was worn by Caitlin.
However, she wasn’t here to compete over fashion. She had come to find Zeke.
She scanned the crowd, but he hadn’t arrived yet. Not for long, though, as Zeke made his entrance soon after.
Dressed in an expensive, custom–tailored suit, Zeke exuded charm and sophistication. He greeted the guests as he walked through, his presence drawing attention from all sides.
Ximena quietly watched him, and Zora couldn’t help but wonder about her mother’s strange expression. What was the relationship between Ximena and Zeke? Had they known each other in the past?
Zeke quickly became the center of attention, with business moguls rushing to greet him. As a rising star in the business world, it was no surprise that everyone wanted to make a connection with him.

Everyone turned to look, and Zeke followed their gaze, seeing Sebastian walking into the banquet hall with Caitlin in his arms.
The unexpected entrance stunned everyone. The divorced couple arriving like this–wasn’t it ironic?
Women’s eyes turned to Caitlin, their expressions a mix of jealousy, admiration, and even disdain.
Madison scoffed. “What’s this about? They’re divorced, and they have to make such a spectacle of it? Do they really think they’re so special ? ” Felix didn’t like hearing his wife’s snide remarks. “Can you mind your words? What they do is their business, and you don’t know the whole story Felix at least understood that Caitlin was not a woman to be easily dismissed. He knew there was a real possibility of them getting back together.
Madison’s anger grew as she listened to her husband defend Caitlin. Why did all the men seem to revolve around her ?
Zora, watching from the side, cond. Did Sebastian really need to make such an entrance? Why the princess carry?
She couldn’t even describe how frustrating it was for her. She thought Caitlin had come up with this stunt herself, maybe to outshine her after wearing the same dress. But this was just too much!
The women around them whispered to each other, their remarks dripping with jealousy and mockery.
Zeke noticed the scene and made his way over through the crowd.
“What happened to Caitlin?” he asked, his concern evident.
Sebastian explained briefly, “She had a small mishap on the stage. Her shoe broke.”
“It’s not a big deal. Just put me down!” Caitlin insisted, wanting to avoid the attention.
Zeke quickly offered, “I’ll have someone help.”
“No need. I’ve already taken care of it!” Sebastian replied, walking toward an empty spot and gently placing Caitlin in a chair.
As soon as she sat, everyone noticed that Caitlin was missing one shoe. The other foot was bare.
“What’s going on? Why only one shoe?”
Everyone was confused about why Caitlin was only wearing one shoe. What was going on?
Zora, however, quickly put two and two together. Did her push earlier cause Caitlin’s shoe to fall off the platform?
She couldn’t help but feel a twisted sense of satisfaction.
With everyone staring at Caitlin, the attention soon shifted to her dress, which looked familiar to the women.
“Wait, doesn’t her dress look just like Miss Harris’s?”
“Miss Harris’s dress was designed by a famous Italian designer. Caitlin’s looks like a knockoff.”
“Exactly! Her dress is definitely a cheap replica! It’s nothing compared to Miss Harris’s!”

Soon, one of Sebastian’s bodyguards rushed in with a black box. The box was tested tightly, and no one could tall what was inside.
Sebastian opened the box, revealing a stunning pair of diamond–encrusted high heels

“They were showcased in Dubai. The base is made of gold, and the entire shoe is encrusted with real diamonds. It’s worth over a billion! A mysterious buyer purchased them!”
Everyone was stunned. Over a billion for a pair of shoes? What kind of concept was that?
But that wasn’t the most shocking part. The real surprise was yet to come!
